2014 Compliance Audit

All candidates running for office in a municipal election must adhere to the rules and regulations set by the Municipal Elections Act, 1996 (external link). If a voter believes on reasonable grounds that a candidate for Regional Chair has contravened a provision of the Act relating to election campaign finances, that voter may contact the Joint Compliance Audit Committee to request a compliance audit.

Any resident of Halton Region who was entitled to vote in the 2014 municipal election may submit this request.
