In this fast-paced and plugged-in world, our children seem to be struggling more with mental health issues.

This presentation will:

  • provide information about how to promote positive mental health in youth;
  • introduce common mental health issues affecting youth;
  • help parents understand when they should be concerned; and
  • explain how to find professional support and services.

Guest speaker: Dr. Jane Storrie

Dr. Jane Storrie is a Burlington-based psychologist and founding partner of Storrie, Velikonja and Associates, a full-service psychology practice. She also operates three multi- disciplinary specialty clinics providing assessment and treatment of child and youth mental health issues, concussion and dementia.
