Heritage Services offers children's programs and offsite programs and activities for all ages. Delivered by skilled and engaging staff, our programs offer a memorable heritage experience and a fascinating look at the world around us. Heritage Services staff can work with you to bring a program or activity to your school, community centre, seniors’ centre or other venue.
Dive in and learn all about the exciting life found in a pond. Using dip nets and buckets students are given an up-close and personal experience collecting and studying pond life. Students will learn about the pond while discovering frogs, tadpoles, crayfish, water bugs and much more.

Discover the geology and natural habitats of the Niagara Escarpment first-hand on a guided nature hike. Beautiful look-outs, an optional outdoor lunch break and a stop for fossil identification in the abandoned Robertson quarry are all part of the experience.

We pack the artifacts, you get to borrow them. Kits can be an assortment of early 19th century artifacts and customised around themes including; cooking, learning and writing. We include guides explaining how to use the kits.
