Halton Regional Official Plan Review (ROPR)

Background

Halton Region is currently undertaking a review of the Regional Official Plan. This formal process, called an Official Plan Review, is done to evaluate an existing official plan and see if its policies are still relevant, meet current provincial policies and achieve Regional Council and community goals.

The first phase of the Regional Official Plan Review is now complete, with Regional Council’s endorsement of the Directions Report (PDF file) which identifies key land use matters and directions for consideration through the review.

When additional information about the next phases of this project is available, it will be provided here.
