In Halton Region, there are different water systems at work delivering safe potable (drinking) water to your property. Depending on where you live a different outdoor water restriction level could be in effect. 

Water use levels can change at any time during the hot summer months, so remember to check this page regularly.

The map of Halton Region identifies the water restriction level of the different urban areas. The following urban areas of Halton have been highlighted on the map; Acton, Georgetown, Campbellville, Milton, Burlington and Oakville. The following water restriction levels are in effect in the different urban areas:

  • Acton is currently Blue - Level 1 (Careful use)
  • Georgetown is currently Blue - Level 1 (Careful use)
  • Campbellville is currently Blue - Level 1 (Careful use)
  • Milton is currently Blue - Level 1 (Careful use)
  • Burlington is currently Blue - Level 1 (Careful use)
  • Oakville is currently Blue - Level 1 (Careful use)
Residents are asked to know the current water restriction level of their urban area, and to know which outdoor water use activities are permitted and not permitted during each restriction level.
