The Halton Region Health Department collects data from a variety of sources in order to monitor the health of our community. This helps to:

• Identify health problems and successes in Halton Region.
• Monitor patterns of communicable and non-communicable diseases, demographic profiles, behavioural risk factors, outbreaks, and other adverse health events.
• Provide information to our partners to help develop and evaluate new policies and programs.
