Well-Baby Visits

What are well baby visits?

  • Well-baby visits are a chance for you to see how your child’s development is coming along, and talk with your health care provider about any questions or concerns you might have.
  • You can also get some tips and suggested activities and resources to help encourage your child’s development.
  • 18 months is a milestone in a child's development and a visit to a family physician or other health care provider at this time is especially important (many skills such as speech and language are starting to emerge).
