Family Day Collection Delay
There is no household waste collection on Family Day (Monday, February 15th). Due to the holiday, household waste collection will take place the day after your regular collection day. Please see your collection calendar for changes
Waste Collection Calendar
Single family homes will receive the new 2016-2017 Halton Guide and Waste Collection Calendar in the mail at the end of March. The collection schedule for January to March 2016 can be found in the current calendar. An online version of the Waste Collection Calendar is also available. The online tool makes it easy to remember your next waste collection day and to keep updated about Halton Region’s waste management programs.
Not sure what to do with your waste? Learn what goes where.
We have lots of waste collection options to help us keep waste out of the landfill. Learn if your waste goes in the Blue Box, GreenCart, Yard Waste or somewhere else by using the Put Waste in its Place tool. Just type in the name of the item you want to throw away and we’ll tell you how to dispose of it.
