A charming, historic setting located at the foot of the Niagara Escarpment.
The Halton Region Museum is situated in the heart of Kelso Conservation Area, a 980-acre park and one of the world's biospheres is located 7 km west of Milton, and one of the most beautiful parks in southern Ontario.
The Halton Region Museum has two modern facility rooms available for rent year round in the historic Alexander Barn. Both rooms radiate the warmth and ambience of a 19 th century setting. Ambience in the Hearth Room is created with its thick stone walls and hand-hewn wooden beams. The Loft Room features a 100-year old hardwood floor and a beautiful view of the Niagara Escarpment. Both rooms offer authentic wood-burning fireplaces and are fully air-conditioned.
An idyllic site for outdoor events such as weddings or corporate team-building days, the site was formerly a farm dating back to the 1830s. The grounds feature 100-year old black walnut trees, a pond and a number of gardens. Tents for bigger events can easily be accommodated.
Encircled by the Glen Eden Ski Hills, which in winter offer a perfect backdrop for its natural beauty, the Halton Region Museum is also a perfect venue for winter events.
