Sexual Health Clinics

The Health Department operates Sexual Health Clinics at 5 different locations in Halton. All clinics are free, confidential and wheelchair accessible. Exchange Works - Needle Exchange Program is also available through the clinic locations.

All appointments should be booked in advance. For birth control pill sales, you can drop in anytime during regular business hours.

Oakville - Opening January 2011

  • Pill sales will be available Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 1 p.m. - 4 p.m.

We will no longer be open for the walk-in service or contraception sales in the morning.

Georgetown

Exchange Works - Needle Exchange Program

Exchange Works is Halton's Needle Exchange Program. As part of this program, outreach workers and public health nurses operate a mobile outreach service in Halton where they exchange used needles for new clean needles, provide health information to clients, distribute condoms, and make referrals to drug and alcohol treatment centres.

Exchange Works can be accessed through:
