Flights of Folly: Learning from the Passenger Pigeon - June 11, 2014 - March 31, 2015
The Halton Region Museum is excited to introduce a special exhibit, Flights of Folly: Learning from the Passenger Pigeon. The new exhibit explores the history of the Passenger Pigeon and showcases how a species that once numbered in the billions could become extinct within a matter of decades. Guests will have an opportunity to see a rare Passenger Pigeon specimen, try roosting in a human-sized nest or snag a pair of binoculars and try to spot one of the many bird species that call Halton home today. More information about the Flights of Follow exhibit.
