Harvest Halton – A Farm to Chef Experience

On October 4, Halton will host the third annual Harvest Halton at Country Heritage Park. This one day local food event provides residents and guests with an opportunity to sample unique dishes created by award winning chefs from Halton Region's renowned restaurants. Each chef will be paired with local farmers who will provide signature ingredients fresh from the harvest. Enjoy live music, an artisanal market and speak directly to local farmers to learn more about the benefits of eating local. This is sure to be a fun, informative and delicious experience. 2015 Halton Pumpkin Trail

Witness the changing fall colours of the Niagara Escarpment, savour the aromas of local, seasonal cuisine, participate in pumpkin-themed activities and connect with local farmers. From innovative tasting experiences to pumpkin-themed accommodations and more, Halton’s Pumpkin Trail offers something for participants of all ages. Residents and visitors are encouraged to visit as many locations as possible along the Trail to experience all things pumpkin in Halton. Event runs from Sept. 14 – Oct. 31, 2015.
