The Emergency Shelter Program may provide temporary crisis accommodations to Halton Region residents who are homeless and need emergency shelter that cannot be met through personal resources (financial, family and friends, available professional resources, etc.).
If you require emergency shelter call Access Halton at 905-825-6000 (or dial 311), press “0” to speak to an operator and tell the operator that you need emergency shelter.
The operator will connect you to an Emergency Shelter Case Worker who will assess your situation and help you determine the best course of action to regain your housing stability.
