How to Apply for Subsidized Housing
To apply for subsidized housing you need to submit an application form. The following application forms are available.
- Application for Senior housing communities

This form is for single persons and for couples aged 65+ who would like to live in senior housing communities. The form also includes supportive housing for seniors. Some supportive housing is for seniors aged 60+.
- Application for All-Age housing communities

This form is for families, singles and couples of all ages. Seniors who would like to live in all-age communities can also use this form.
You do not have to include any documents with these applications unless you are applying for a special status.
- Follow this link to search for social housing communities in Halton. Please note some communities are not part of the waiting list. This is in the details section of each community.
- If you are applying for All-Age housing, you don't have to select specific housing communities when you apply. You will be asked when you are closer to the top of the waiting list.
