Older Adult Advisory Committee

Halton Region’s Older Adult Advisory Committee (OAAC) is an advisory body to Halton Regional Council that provides information on older adults’ issues to assist Council in making informed decisions on behalf of seniors living in Halton.

OAAC publishes a number of resources for older adults including:

  • To order a copy or to update information in the directory, call 311.
  • A quick reference containing listings and contact numbers of organizations serving older adults in the areas of health, housing, transportation, pensions, legal matters, emergency services, government and much more. The directory is available for pick up at local libraries, Home and Community Care (formerly CCAC), seniors’ centres and municipal offices.
