Grasscycling is a simple and natural approach to lawn care.

What is grasscycling?

  • Grass clippings are left on the lawn after mowing and decompose quickly, releasing valuable nutrients back into the soil.
  • Grasscycling is an environmentally and financially friendly option for your lawn care.

What are the benefits to grasscycling?

  • Grass clippings are approximately 80% water. When you mow regularly, clippings quickly decompose and release water and nutrients back into the lawn.
  • Lawns stay greener and healthier and develop a deeper root system when clippings are left on them.
  • Reduces the amount of time and money you spend fertilizing and bagging.
  • Leaving grass clippings on your lawn can generate up to 25% of the lawn’s yearly fertilizer needs.
    • Fertilize in spring if the lawn needs it, and let clippings do the job through the summer.
    • Fertilize in the fall to boost spring growth.
