The purpose of this amendment is to permit seven properties on 27 Side Road and Winston Churchill Boulevard in Terra Cotta (Map 70KB) to connect to existing Region of Peel watermains.

Background

Halton Region initiated Proposed Regional Official Plan Amendment RQ02A (52KB) based on a Regional Council direction from November 16, 2005. The amendment was in circulation with a number of agencies for review. 

A public meeting (232KB) was held on January 11, 2005.

The subject properties impacted by this amendment are identified municipally as 16940, 16956, 16984 and 16990 27 Side Road, and 12202 and 13216 Winston Churchill Boulevard, located within the Terra Cotta Rural Cluster.
