The 2013 Citizens Report (PDF file) is the
third annual update to residents on the progress achieved on the Citizens' Priorities Action Plan. It is a summary of actions accomplished in 2013 and meets Halton's commitments to being accountable and transparent to residents. Please
here (PDF file) for a full listing of action items achieved in 2013.
On June 22, 2011 Regional Council approved The Citizens’ Priorities - Halton Region’s 2011-2014 Action Plan (PDF file). Each new term, Halton Regional Council develops a plan to reflect Council’s priorities and focus on what services are important to Halton residents. This Action Plan is fundamentally different from other plans Halton has developed in the past because of how closely Halton worked with residents at the beginning of the development process.
In 2014, work continues on a number of key priorities and actions as Halton Region continues to focus on the programs and services that are important to residents. Regional staff are currently working to complete
2014 actions (PDF file) and will report progress and achievements to Regional Council and the public later in 2014.
