Standing Committees

To help streamline the decision-making process, there are three Standing Committees of Regional Council.   

Some of the work of Regional Council can be accomplished in a relatively informal setting with smaller groups of elected officials. The Chief Administrative Officer and appropriate staff attend these meetings, to give advice to the Committee members and to assist with answers to questions. The Standing Committees make recommendations to Regional Council.

Health & Social Services Committee

The Health & Social Services Committee meets Tuesdays at 9:30 a.m. on a three-week cycle.   Current members are:

The Planning & Public Works Committee meets Wednesdays at 9:30 a.m. on a three-week cycle.   Current members are:

The Administration & Finance Committee meets Wednesdays at 1:30 p.m. on a three-week cycle. Current members are:
