Access to Regional Services during COVID-19

Breadcrumbs

Clinic operations during inclement weather

In the event of an unplanned COVID-19 Community or Paediatric Clinic closure as a result of inclement weather, Halton Region Public Health will notify residents through clinic signage, our website and social media.

Halton Region facilities are open to the public by appointment only. Many programs and services are also available online or by phone. Critical construction projects that are vital to our local economy have also continued.

Construction will improve customer service, accessibility and security at Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville (Google map). Please enter the building through the temporary main entrance and newly constructed south courtyard in the main block of the building. The previous main entrance on the west side of the building is now closed. There is a temporary Access Halton service counter and security desk positioned at the new entrance while construction continues on a permanent multi-service counter, improved lobby and public space. Please note that from August 15 to September 30, a portion of the ring road at Halton Regional Centre will be closed to accommodate construction work.

The new temporary main entrance and accessible parking near the main entrance and closure of the ring road north of the building is identified in the map:

A drop-box is available at the temporary main entrance of Halton Regional Centre for residents and businesses that need to drop-off any necessary documents. Please review the information below for information on how to access our programs and services at this time.

Have you completed your wellness check today?

All employees, visitors and contractors must complete a Wellness Check before entering our Regional facilities.

Stay home if you feel unwell, even if your symptoms are mild.
