About This Program

Halton Region is making improvements to designated water services in Halton by lowering and/or insulating the lines between the watermain and the curb stop (public side). The improvements will help prevent water service lines from freezing during winter months.

The upgrades will target homes and businesses with a history of frozen pipes on the municipal side. Residences and businesses will receive advanced notice if the above improvements affect your property. Following the water service improvements, the contractor will restore the affected sites to existing or better condition.
