If you are waiting for mail FROM Halton Region:

Any item dropped to Canada Post after Friday November 8 will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the national strike. Service guarantees will be impacted for items already in the postal network. Canada Post is advising all customers to expect delays (external link).

Effective November 15, Halton Region has not dropped any items to Canada Post. Canada Post has advised that no new items will be processed for the duration of the national strike. If you are waiting for mail delivery from Halton Region, you have the following options:

• Come to the Halton Regional Centre, 1151 Bronte Road in Oakville (Google Maps link). We are open Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
• Call 311 or email accesshalton@halton.ca.

A customer service representative will work with you to determine the best method to receive your item.

If you have mailed an item TO Halton Region:

Any item you dropped to Canada Post after Friday November 8, will not be processed or delivered for the duration of the national strike. We are expecting delays in the delivery of your item.
