About our oral health clinic

Halton Region Public Health provides the following services for children aged 17 years and younger at the oral health clinic:

  • oral health screening
  • oral health education
  • first dental visit oral health screening for babies and toddlers aged 0-3
  • assessment of eligibility for financial assistance through the Healthy Smiles Ontario (HSO) program

Free tele-screening appointment

Parents who can’t make it to the clinic can call 311 or fill out our contact form to request a free phone or virtual screening appointment with a registered dental hygienist. These appointments help assess a child’s oral health and eligibility for the Healthy Smiles Ontario program.
