Halton Region to seek review of Nelson Quarry decision

Halton Region will request a review of the Ontario Land Tribunal’s August 18, 2026 Nelson Aggregate Co. quarry decision and file an application for judicial review with the Divisional Court. The Region expects to file both this week, ahead of the September 17 deadline, and will primarily support the City of Burlington in these proceedings.
