About the study

Process and consultation

The study is being carried out in accordance with the requirements of Phases 1 and 2 of the Municipal Class Environmental Assessment, (October 2000, amended 2007, 2011, 2015 and 2023), which is an approved process under Ontario’s Environmental Assessment Act.

A key part of the study is consultation with the public and review agencies through Public Information Centres (PICs).
