Halton Region Public Health is enforcing the Immunization of School Pupils Act. Students born in 2008–2013 and 2016-2018 may be suspended from school starting in March 2026 if their immunization records with Public Health are incomplete.

Halton Region’s administrative offices will be closed from Wednesday, December 24, 2025, to Thursday, January 1, 2026, and will reopen on Friday, January 2, 2026. Vaccine distribution will be unavailable during the closure.

The measles outbreak in Ontario has been officially declared over, effective October 6, 2025. Ensure international travellers and children are up to date on their immunizations, including measles containing vaccines.
