William Halton Parkway Extension Project
About this project
Construction of the new corridor is happening in two phases and Phase 1 started in 2018. Residents and motorists can expect to see a new, complete corridor with the following improvements between Third Line and Ninth Line:
- New roadway
- Roundabouts
- Traffic signals
- Bridges
- Sewer back up prevention
- Maintaining clean drinking water
- Multi-use pathways
- Bike lanes
- Sidewalks

Halton Region’s contractor will be using a section of Lions Valley Park and its parking lot as a construction staging area. Parking spots will be reduced and there may be delays in accessing the park using Lions Valley Park Road.
