About the project
Study overview
The Norval West Bypass is part of an overall solution to improve travel in the community of Norval. It was identified in the Halton-Peel Boundary Area Transportation Study (2010) which was a joint study between Region of Peel, Halton Region, City of Brampton, Town of Caledon, and Town of Halton Hills. This was confirmed in Halton Region’s 2011 Transportation Master Plan – The Road to Change. The potential improvements for the Norval West Bypass and 10 Side Road include:
- a new roadway from Highway 7 to 10 Side Road;
- improvements to 10 Side Road from Tenth Line to Adamson Street/Winston Churchill Boulevard (Regional Road 19)
- active transportation facilities (such as multi-use paths);
- new intersections (roundabouts) at Highway 7 and 10 Side Road; and
- landscaping
The online consultation for Public Information Centre #1 took place between November 19 and December 18, 2020. The Public Information Centre #1 display package and presentation transcript are available on the study webpage.
