Regional Chair Gary Carr: Indigenous Adults 18+ can now book COVID-19 vaccination appointments

As we continue to make great progress in vaccinating Halton residents as quickly as possible, I’m pleased to share eligibility has expanded to include Indigenous Adults who are living in Halton and are 18 years and older. Please help in spreading the word and sharing this information with anyone you know who is eligible. Appointments are available in April.

How do I book an appointment?

  • To book an appointment quickly and easily online, please visit our online booking system, which is available at halton.ca.
  • While booking online is the fastest way to schedule an appointment, residents who require support can also call 311. Please only call 311 if you are currently eligible and require support so we can ensure residents who need this service have access.
  • Please do not call clinics directly and bookings are not available through the Provincial system; if you access the Provincial system, you will be redirected back to our online booking system.
  • If you have already booked an appointment, you can now check and confirm your appointment details online.

Stay-At-Home Order and Staying Safe

With the Stay-At-Home order (external link) now in effect, I would like to acknowledge the resiliency of our residents and businesses and thank everyone for continuing to make sacrifices to protect each other and the community. It has been a challenging year getting through this pandemic and I am hopeful that the actions taken over the next four weeks and the acceleration of vaccine supplies, will help us to get closer to stopping the virus and get back to normal soon. Our collective efforts will help keep Halton a great place to live, work, raise a family and retire
