Happy 25th Anniversary to our Paramedic Services team!

This month, we celebrate 25 years of exceptional service from our Paramedic Services team. Since becoming a Regional service on August 16, 2000—with just 60 paramedics and six stations—our team has grown to over 300 paramedics across 15 stations. We’ve also introduced specialized services such as the Community Paramedicine Program, public education programs for CPR and AED, Bike medics and tactical medics.

Our service has grown and changed to meet the needs of the community and will continue to expand in the years to come.

We’re incredibly proud of the work our team does 24/7. Watch this video to hear messages of appreciation for all members of our Paramedic Services team:

On behalf of Regional Council, congratulations to Chief Sage, all our deputy chiefs and the entire Paramedic Services team. Your courage and dedication make a lasting impact on our community.
