Our Paramedic Services team is there when it matters most—24/7, 365 days a year—providing expert, compassionate, evidence based care to our community. This year’s theme, “Better Care Starts Here,” reflects the trusted role they play on the front lines.
Each year, paramedics respond to more than 60,000 emergency calls and transport nearly 36,000 patients to hospital—delivering critical care in moments that matter most.
It has also been a challenging year, with growing call complexity and an alarming rise in violence against paramedics. Despite these pressures, their dedication, professionalism, and commitment to patient care remain unwavering.
In honour of Paramedic Services Week, the Paramedic Services flag will fly at Halton Regional Centre until May 25.
We proudly celebrate and extend our deepest thanks to our incredible paramedics and support staff—your unwavering courage, compassion, and commitment truly make a difference every single day!
Paramedic Services Open House
Join us at our annual Paramedic Services Open House to meet the team and learn more about the vital work they do:
