Halton Entrepreneurs Shine at the Starter Company Plus Pitch Competition

Fifteen bold entrepreneurs took the stage, ready to showcase their ideas at Halton Region Small Business Centre’s Starter Company Plus program final pitch competition of the year.

Supported by the Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade, the Starter Company Plus program provides local entrepreneurs with training, mentorship and the opportunity to pitch for grant funding to help launch or grow their business in Halton.

As the final part of the program, top participants presented their business plans and growth strategies to a panel of community judges. Following an impressive round of pitches, our Small Business Centre awarded $45,000 in grants to help nine entrepreneurs take the next step in launching or expanding their business locally.
