Supportive Housing: Shovels in the ground at Maria St. in Acton, with funding support from the Region and the Federal Government
We’re working closely with our partners to build more assisted and supportive housing as fast as possible for those who need it most.
In Acton, shovels are in the ground at 47 Maria Street! This space will provide 12 one-bedroom units for people experiencing homelessness or who need support for mental health or addictions.
Regional funding of $3.94 million combined with $2 million from the Federal government through Reaching Home: Canada’s Homelessness Strategy (external link) helped Support House (external link) make this project a reality.
