Delivering water and wastewater services to support getting more homes built faster
Halton is one of the fastest growing communities in the country, and we are committed to making sure our critical services are here now and into the future. This includes water and wastewater system capacity to support the Province’s housing targets by and our expected population of 1.38 million in .
This means that whether you live or work in Halton now or plan to in the future, you can be assured that you will have reliable access to clean drinking water when you turn on the tap and that your toilets will flush.
We are in a great position to maintain excellent compliance rates and also keep rates as low as possible. We continue to maintain our AAA credit rating from S&P Global and Moody’s Investor Services which reduces the cost of borrowing and ultimately the cost to our residents as we grow.
