Servicing Growth: Oakville Water Treatment Plant expansion to service over 9000 new homes
$20.8 million in Provincial funding will allow us to expand Oakville Water Treatment Plant's capacity to boost water production for 25,000 homes and service over 9,000 new homes. Construction starts this spring.

The Last Mile: New funding brings Kerr Street construction closer to completion
$3.5 million in Provincial Last Mile funding will complete our 265 Kerr Street project on time.

Our Public Health team recently reported that it costs $290.57 per week to feed a family of four with healthy, fresh food.
We are doing everything we can to ensure everyone has access to nutritious food. Organizations like FeedHalton are doing just that, and we are proud to work alongside them.

Reducing Waste: New Community Circular Economy Fund in 2026
This new fund will help divert waste from our landfill by supporting efforts to share, repair and reuse.

New development on Region-owned land in Oakville could provide up to 32 new assisted rental and supportive housing units for the community.
