Investing in programs and supports to address homelessness
Halton is not immune to the homelessness crisis. We have a significant and rising demand for homelessness support, driven by high market rental costs, static social assistance rates and the mental health and addictions crisis.

Path to Net Zero: Halton achieves all partners for climate protection milestones!
At Halton Region, we have plans in place to reach net zero GHG emissions by 2045. We’ve also recently achieved all of the milestones in the Partners for Climate Change Protection Program (external link).

Measles case confirmed in Halton Region: Help prevent the spread
Protect yourself and your family against measles by getting vaccinated at your family doctor's office or a walk-in clinic. Monitor for symptoms & stay home when sick. Please call ahead before seeking medical attention.
