OAKVILLE: Halton Region donates two retired Sport Utility Vehicles (SUVs) to St. John Ambulance Canada’s Halton Branch, boosting medical support at local events and improving community safety and emergency response.
“We’re pleased to contribute these vehicles to St. John Ambulance Canada’s medical responder program, which delivers vital first aid services throughout our community,” said Andrew Farr, Chief Administrative Offer at Halton Region. “For over twenty years, we’ve partnered with their dedicated team and remain supportive in providing care for those who need it most.”
This donation aligns with Halton Region’s Community Well-Being strategic initiative, which prioritizes safeguarding and improving the health and safety of residents. By partnering with trusted organizations like St. John Ambulance, Halton Region ensures communities have the resources they need to stay safe and healthy as needs evolve.
