Spotlight: Shahmeen – Waste Management
Effective waste management helps protect our environment and maintain a clean, healthy and sustainable future for our community.
Meet Shahmeen, a Scale House Operator at the Halton Waste Management Site. You may recognize her from your last visit to the Waste Management Site - Shahmeen is often the first point of contact when residents drive in to drop off their waste! Shahmeen is passionate about her job and enjoys being able to interact with people every day. One of her favourite parts of her job is being able to educate the community about Halton’s different waste management programs and services. There is so much we can do to reduce, reuse and recycle to keep our community clean!
