Register for Oct 8 Public Health respiratory season webinar and respiratory vaccine ordering tips

  • Register now for the upcoming Mainpro+ accredited webinar (October 8 from 7-8 p.m.), Public Health Updates for Halton Physicians: Focus on fall/winter respiratory pathogens and immunizations – Preparing your practice for Influenza, COVID-19 and RSV (external link). Any interested healthcare professional is welcome to register. Please invite your colleagues.
  • Learn more about the respiratory diseases you’ll be seeing in your practice this fall and winter and how to prevent them through effective immunization, including expanded RSV eligibility. Join Halton Region’s Associate Medical Officers of Health, Dr. Patrick Galange and Dr. Joanna Oda, to learn about:
    • the epidemiology of key respiratory pathogens (Influenza, RSV, COVID-19);
    • RSV, COVID-19 and Influenza vaccine guidance for the fall 2025-26 campaign;
    • immunization eligibility and recommendations for RSV, COVID-19, Influenza and Pneumococcal vaccinations;
    • IPAC recommendations for various respiratory pathogens; and
    • symptoms, testing and management guidelines for COVID-19, influenza and RSV.
  • For the best experience, use a laptop or desktop, have the Teams app installed and test your internet connection beforehand. Recording will be emailed to all registrants after the event.

Tips for ordering COVID-19, Influenza and RSV vaccines and products

  • First auto-shipment of influenza vaccines will be delivered by courier, at no cost to your facility, starting today. These are not ordered by your facility but automatically sent.
  • Additional influenza vaccines can be ordered through the Online Vaccine Order Form starting October 14.
  • COVID-19 vaccines must be ordered through the Online Vaccine Order Form.
  • Infant and adult RSV products must be ordered by faxing a completed RSV Order Form (PDF file) to 905-465-3403.
  • Please read the September 26 memo that was emailed to clinics for more details.
  • Check with your colleagues and co-workers to ensure they are receiving emails from Halton Public Health. If not, they can reach out to doctors@halton.ca to get added to our email list.
