- How local immunization coverage and compliance rates for the publicly funded, school-aged program in Halton have increased since 2023, helping to reduce disease, and how Halton compares to provincial coverage rates;
- What vaccines are included under the Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) and the difference between medical and non-medical exemptions; and
- The Immunization of School Pupils Act (ISPA) process for 2025-26 and how physicians can support families in updating student immunization records.

Key messages for healthcare providers
- The 2025-2026 ISPA Enforcement program will focus on students born in 2008-2013 (grades 7-12) and 2016-2018 (grades 2-4).
- Initial ISPA communications will go to families with outdated immunization records in October/November, with suspension orders going to elementary students in late February 2026 and secondary students in late March.
- Suspension period for elementary students begins March 31, 2026 and April 30, 2026 for secondary students.
