Thanks to the commitment of our residents to get vaccinated, 83 per cent of Halton residents 12+ are fully vaccinated. I would like to extend my deepest thanks to all of our Regional staff, volunteers, and our hospital and community partners for all of your ongoing hard work at our COVID-19 vaccine clinics. We could not have gotten to this critical point without your dedication. Your hard work has helped protect the safety and health of our residents and helped get Halton closer to achieving community protection against the COVID-19 virus.
While we have competed the first part of our community clinic vaccine program, we are not done. Our clinics continue to be available for Halton residents to get their COVID-19 vaccine and gain protection against the virus and variants of concern, and our team is here to make getting your vaccine as quick and easy as possible. If you have not gotten your COVID-19 vaccine yet, I encourage you to do so as soon as possible – walk-in to get your first and second dose at our clinics today. By rolling up your sleeve and getting your vaccine, you are helping us get closer to community protection against the COVID-19 virus and keeping Halton a great place to live, work, raise a family and retire.
