To make the recycling of household hazardous waste and electronic waste more convenient for residents, Halton Region holds Special Waste Drop-off Days throughout the year. Special Waste Drop-off Days are for Halton residents only. No commercial waste is accepted.
NEW LOCATION: The Oakville Special Waste Drop-Off Day on September 27, 2025 will be held at the Halton Regional Centre at 1151 Bronte Road, Oakville (South Parking Lot) (Google Maps link).
