Our annual Budget is our roadmap to keep your taxes as low as possible while investing in what matters most to our community. This includes strategic investments in assisted and supportive housing, roads, water and wastewater infrastructure, and Paramedic Services.

Construction starts at 1258 Rebecca, our supportive housing project bringing 14 new units for seniors
We’re getting more homes built faster for those who need them most. Our Rebecca Street supportive housing project is bringing 14 units for seniors to Oakville. Construction has started with anticipated completion in Fall 2025.
This is part of our portfolio of in-progress and shovel-ready projects. That means we have water and wastewater and services ready for connection and zoning complete, and ready for investment partnerships to get construction going.

15,000 Georgetown residents seamlessly transitioned from groundwater to Lake Ontario- based drinking water
Thanks to our Public Works team who recently transitioned 15,000 Georgetown residents from groundwater to Lake Ontario-based drinking water. The transfer will help conserve groundwater and maintain water quality and service reliability now and in the future.
