Coming soon: 46 new assisted housing units in Milton
Halton Region is investing $16.5M to secure 46 units in a new 140‑unit building. The project is a partnership with a local developer, who is also receiving $49.8M from CMHC’s Affordable Housing Fund.

Blue Box Program
Reminder! The residential recycling program is now managed by Circular Materials Ontario.
For more information about acceptable recycling items and how to use the program, please visit circularmaterials.ca/halton (external link). You can also download and print our updated ‘Put Waste in Its Place’ flyer to quickly check what you can and can’t recycle.

Halton Region is officially an Age-Friendly Community!
This recognition from the Ontario Ministry of Seniors and Accessibility reflects the Region’s achievement in building spaces that are more inclusive of older adults.

Starter Company Plus Pitch Competition
The Starter Company Plus program helps entrepreneurs launch new products and expand existing businesses.
