Halton Region recognized as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers for the eighth consecutive year

Dec 11, 2018

For the eighth consecutive year, Mediacorp Canada Inc. has recognized Halton Region as one of Greater Toronto’s Top Employers. The distinction is awarded to organizations offering exceptional work environments and meaningful careers that promote employee engagement and success. Halton’s selection indicates it ranked among the highest scorers of participating local employers.

Halton employs over 2,500 professionals whose collective skills, expertise and perspectives make a positive difference in the community. When considering Halton for the award, Mediacorp examined its wellness programs, opportunities for young people, supports for new parents, professional development and training, working conditions and onsite amenities at its public headquarters.

The local competition reviews submissions from both the public and private sector—including national and multinational organizations—and is based on the same comprehensive criteria as the national contest (external link).
