Every term of Council, Halton Region develops a Strategic Business Plan that guides the Region’s work over the four years. As part of this strategic business plan process, a Consultation Document has been developed that identifies five strategic themes, objectives and outcomes that reflect current economic, demographic, and social conditions and citizen priorities. From managing growth to building new infrastructure to enhancing community well-being and planning a sustainable future, this Consultation Document will inform Halton’s 2019-2022 Strategic Business Plan.
On March 27, 2019, the consultation process for the Strategic Business Plan was approved by Regional Council. Between now and May 31, 2019, Halton Region is inviting the public to provide input on the Consultation Document that has been developed to encourage discussion.
Residents can provide input by attending one of four public open houses. These open houses will provide an opportunity to learn more about the Strategic Business Plan, ask questions and participate in a facilitated workshop.
