Halton Regional Allocation Programs

Halton Region shares the Provincial goal of building more homes, faster. We accelerate growth by planning, financing and delivering transportation, water and wastewater infrastructure. Halton’s Allocation Programs help fund the timely construction of growth-related infrastructure to support the Local Municipalities in meeting their housing pledges and increasing the housing supply.

On July 10, 2024, Halton Regional Council received report CA-19-24/FN-20-24/PW-19-24 (PDF file) confirming the launch of the 2023 Allocation Program. It joins other active programs from 2008/2009, 2012 and 2020. If you have questions about any of our Allocation Programs, please email allocationprogram@halton.ca or visit our Development Charges page.
