As we continue to feel the impacts of the pandemic, connecting residents and businesses with the programs and supports they need remains a priority for Halton Region. Finding a job or a new career can be challenging during this time, but we can help.

Our Employment Halton team has been providing services virtually, by phone or email throughout the COVID-19 pandemic to ensure you can access the services you need. Each year, Employment Halton helps support more than 8,000 job seekers and over 350 employers with recruitment, training and access to online job boards.

If you are looking for work, I encourage you to connect with us to access our free employment services and one-on-one support, including:

  • job search and placement support;
  • career advice and guidance;
  • interview and resumé preparation; and
  • training and development opportunities.

If you are an employer and looking to recruit and hire, Employment Halton can also provide assistance through free job postings, job placement programs and opportunities to participate in our job fairs. Our staff offer services and programs that can help you select the best candidate and train and develop your workforce. Our goal is to help you find and keep skilled employees.
