Employment Halton offers free assistance for job seekers looking for a new career and for employers who are looking to recruit new talent. To make the job search and hiring process as easy as possible, many of our resources are available online in just a few clicks. Our team also provides one-on-one consultations via Zoom, phone and email.

If you are looking for work, I encourage you to take advantage of our services and personalized support available through our employment resources centres, including:

  • job search and placement support;
  • interview and resumé preparation;
  • career advice and guidance for youth and self-employment; and
  • training and development opportunities.

We also have new virtual employment workshops to help you prepare for the recruitment process. Topics include interviews, the Second Career Program, proactive job search strategies, and targeted cover letters and resumes.

If you are an employer looking to recruit or expand your team, we offer one-on-one advice, strategies and tools to help connect you with qualified candidates, prepare for the recruitment process and achieve hiring goals.
