Halton Region operates three quality licensed child care centres. Learn about the programs offered at the child care centres and how to apply for child care fee subsidy.

Halton Region runs three quality licensed child care centres in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, and Regulations. The Regional Child Care Centres provide an enriched child care environment that nurtures and fosters each child's development by providing the highest quality programs in an inclusive setting. Programs are open to all children from 18 months to school age. Halton Region provides services to children with special needs through Inclusion Services.

Rates (under Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System)

The Halton Regional Child Care Centres have enrolled in the Canada-Wide Early Learning and Child Care System (CWELCC). The following fees reflect the centres’ current rates under the CWELCC.

Toddler

  • Half Day:
    $18.20
  • Full Day:
    $26.58

Preschool

  • Half Day:
    $17.49
  • Full Day:
    $24.49
  • Nursery School (9:30-11:30 a.m.):
    $12.00
