Halton Regional Child Care Centres

Halton Region operates three quality licensed child care centres. Learn about the programs offered at the child care centres and how to apply for child care fee subsidy.

COVID-19 emergency child care

Local child care operators are supporting eligible frontline and health care providers with children age four to 12 who may not be able to accommodate their child’s learning/care at home during the period where are operating virtually as part of the Province-wide Stay-at-Home Order and Shutdown. This targeted emergency child care program is offered at no cost to eligible parents. Learn more about emergency child care.

Halton Region runs three quality licensed child care centres in accordance with the Child Care and Early Years Act, 2014, and Regulations. The Regional Child Care Centres provide an enriched child care environment that nurtures and fosters each child's development by providing the highest quality programs in an inclusive setting. Programs are open to all children from 18 months to school age. Halton Region provides services to children with special needs through Inclusion Services.
