Development Charges Background Study

 

The Region of Halton has undertaken an update to the Region’s Development Charges (DC) Background Studies and By-laws. The Region of Halton imposes Development Charges (DCs) under the provisions of the Development Charges Act, 1997, as amended. The Act requires that a background study be undertaken to calculate the DC no less than every five years.

Development Charges Advisory Committee Meetings

Halton Region follows an organized and comprehensive consultation process consisting of the Development Charges Advisory Committee (DCAC), which provides advice on the preparation of the DC Background Study.

Due to the ongoing precautions relating to the COVID-19 pandemic, all four meetings will be held via the Zoom Video Conference application and there will be no in person attendance. The link to the meeting is provided in each Agenda.
